Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
Infrastructure as a Service is a provision model in which an organization outsources the equipment used to support operations, including storage, hardware, servers and networking components. The service provider owns the equipment and is responsible for housing, running and maintaining it. The client typically pays on a per-use basis. Infrastructure as a Service is sometimes referred to as Hardware as a Service (HaaS)
Example of IaaS :
Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Platform as a service (PaaS) is a category of cloud computing services that provide a computing platform and a solution stack as a service. In the classic layered model of cloud computing, the PaaS layer lies between the SaaS and the IaaS layers. PaaS services include application design, development, testing, deployment, and hosting. Other services include team collaboration, web service integration, database integration, security, scalability, storage, state management, and versioning

What is Sales Cloud?

It puts all of your customer and prospect information in one place, giving sales teams the ability to be more productive.
What’s the difference between Sales and Service Cloud?
There are many similarities between Sales Cloud and Service Cloud—they both share critical features like Accounts and Contacts, and some basic Case Management functionality. Sales Cloud is focused on offering functionality to sales reps and sales managers, with a focus on account acquisition, the sales funnel, and closing deals.
But that doesn't mean Sales Cloud is only about closing deals—it can also support other teams, too. For example, Customer Success teams can leverage cases in Sales Cloud to onboard new customers and manage requests from customers that may not fall in a typical “Customer Support” space.
On the other side, Service Cloud has tools and functionality that is geared toward providing support teams with advanced case management features. A key feature in Service Cloud is support for Omni-channel, allowing for teams to handle support from customers, wherever they need you.

- Permission set licenses grant more granular control because the user needs both a permission set license giving them the right to use a feature or certain features and a permission set describing what they can do with it.
- There's validation involved when assigning the permission set to user. So if I create a permission set with permissions that requires a specific permission set license I cannot assign the permission set to a user unless they also have the related permission set license.
- A permission set is a convenient way to assign users specific settings and permissions to use various tools and functions. Permission set licenses incrementally entitle users to access features that are not included in their user licenses. Users can be assigned any number of permission set licenses.
